Silas Rideout

Throwing it back to 1898! In this photograph, Silas Rideout can be seen building furniture in his carpentry workshop. Rideout had a carriage business in a shop beside his home. Surviving receipts from the 1850s and 1860s show Rideout also furnished coffins in Cumberland.
