The Town Forest Story Walk

is a ¾ mile loop in the Town Forest that provides an outdoor adventure for residents to read a story as they walk the path and take in the scenery. The storybook pages are posted at several stations that are staggered along the trail. The walk encourages reading, exercise, and an appreciation for the amazing open spaces we have here in Town.

The story is changed monthly, so visitors are invited to return each month for a different story. It's a great activity for people of all ages!

Special thanks to Sue Novak, who played a key role in bringing the Story Walk to Cumberland and who volunteers her time to change the story each month.
