Planning

The Planning Department is responsible for:

  • Providing research and technical assistance to the Planning Board, Town Manager, Town Council, the Comprehensive Plan Committee, other town committees, department heads, and our citizens.
  • Providing comprehensive review of development proposals requiring Planning Board approval including subdivisions, site plans, and certain uses within the Shoreland Zone.
