Obtaining a Library Card
Residents of Cumberland and North Yarmouth are entitled to a free library card. Registration forms are available at the Library’s circulation desk, and proof of residency is required. Individuals working in the towns of Cumberland and North Yarmouth, and those attending School Administrative District 51 schools or working for SAD 51, can also obtain a library card. Non-residents can receive a card for an annual fee of $30. All residents of Cumberland and York counties are entitled to a free library card at Portland Public Library, the area reference center for southern Maine.
