Lifeguard Class

June 14, 15, 18, 19, 20                                                                                                                                                               

Fee:  $250 residents/$260 non-residents 

Participants must be 15 years of age on or before the last class.  Prerequisite skills: 1.  Swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl or breaststroke.  2.  Tread water using legs only for 2 minutes.  3.  Complete a timed event using a 10 lb brick.  These can be performed prior to the first class.  Call the Aquatics Director for an appointment. 

Open Recreational Swim

Two lanes are reserved for lap swimming.

Saturdays, 12:00-2:00pm

Participants pay at the pool.

Children, $2 res/$3 non-res

Adults, $3 res/$4 non-res

Family, $5 res/$6 non-res

Summer Swim Lessons** Register online beginning May 14

All Classes are Monday and Wednesday, Mornings AND Evenings

Session 1:  June 20-July 18 (8 lessons) no lessons July 4

Session 2:  July23-August 15 (8 lessons)

Parent/Child, ages 6 mos-5 yrs, 10:10-10:40 AM, 5:30-6:00 PM

All Preschool Levels, ages 3-5 NEW AGES, 8:40-9:10 AM, 10:10-10:40 AM,  6:10-6:40 PM

Levels 1-5, ages 6 and above, 9:20-10:00 AM, 6:50-7:30 PM

PRIVATE LESSONS CAN BE SCHEDULED WITH THE AQUATICS DIRECTOR

Aquatic Fitness for Adults**

Exercise in the water for all swim levels! You can register for one or two classes per week!

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00-7:00pm

Mon/Wed/Fri Mornings, 5:30-7:00am Adults Only

Evening Open/Lap Swim

Monday Evenings, 6:00-7:00pm

Winter Session: January 4-March 31

Spring Session:  April 3-June 21

*Participants may register for entire session online or purchase a punch card in person at Cumberland Town Hall.

The Recreation Department is no longer accepting phone registrations.

• All swimmers are required to sign in with a pool attendant.
• Cleansing showers are required by everyone prior to swimming.
• Bathing Caps are required if your hair is longer than 3″.
• Children not potty trained need a clean swim diaper and a tight fitting suit.
• Inflatable floaties are not allowed.
• We have silicone caps for sale at the pool for $5.
• Children who cannot touch the bottom of the pool must have an adult in the water with them.
