Lifeguard Class

Fee: $250 residents/$260 non-residents
Participants must be 15 years of age on or before the last class. Prerequisite skills: 1. Swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl or breaststroke. 2. Tread water using legs only for 2 minutes. 3. Complete a timed event using a 10 lb brick. These can be performed prior to the first class. Call the Aquatics Director for an appointment.
Open Recreational Swim
Two lanes are reserved for lap swimming.
Saturdays, 12:00-2:00pm
Participants pay at the pool.

Aquatic Fitness for Adults**
Exercise in the water for all swim levels! You can register for one or two classes per week!

*Participants may register for entire session online or purchase a punch card in person at Cumberland Town Hall.
The Recreation Department is no longer accepting phone registrations.
GENERAL POOL RULES- All swimmers are required to sign in with a pool attendant.
- Cleansing showers are required by everyone prior to swimming.
- Bathing Caps are required if your hair is longer than 3″.
- Children not potty trained need a clean swim diaper and a tight fitting suit.
- Inflatable floaties are not allowed.
- We have silicone caps for sale at the pool for $5.

Children who cannot touch the bottom of the pool must have an adult in the water with them.
